The small cognac house of Daniel Bouju is a family run affair since 1805 and is located in the village of Saint Preuil in Charente. Covering 30 hectares of vines in the heart of the famed Grande Champagne region, the premier Cru of Cognac, the Daniel Bouju Distillery has a wine making and distilling history that stretches back to the early 19th century and is proud to offer single estate Cognacs.

As a grower/distiller, Daniel Bouju controls 100% of the production process. From the vineyard to the bottle, the greatest care is paid to each and every single step of the production process.

The Cognacs are distilled on small 16 hl Charentais style copper pot stills to allow a double distillation and the perfect aromatic intensity and concentration. They are then matured in Limousin oak casks.
